Inside PREOVA Recover
PREOVA research notes · Recovery, calm, and overnight repair
Mixed Berry. Wind down, repair, and recover overnight.
Recover is the caffeine-free, evening counterpart to Activate. Where Activate is built to switch you on, Recover is built to help you wind down, repair, and recover while you sleep. Every active is included for a reason and dosed within the amounts used in published research. Here is what goes into each stick and why we chose it.

Repair and Connective Tissue
The structural core of Recover is a connective-tissue support system. Collagen peptides supply the building blocks, vitamin C is the cofactor the body uses to assemble them, and glycine is both the most abundant amino acid in collagen and a relaxation and sleep supporter in its own right.
Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides (Type I and III)5,000 mg per stick
Collagen is the main structural protein of skin, tendon, ligament, cartilage, and bone, and the body's own production declines with age and physical load. Hydrolyzed peptides are collagen broken into small, readily absorbed fragments that supply the specific amino acids connective tissue is built from, especially proline and hydroxyproline. Type I and III are the forms that dominate skin and soft tissue.
Recover uses a full 5,000 mg serving, an amount studied for skin support, and the overnight window is when the body does much of its repair work. Collagen supports skin elasticity and hydration and the body's connective tissue.
Vitamin C100 mg per stick, from a natural source
Vitamin C is the cofactor the body needs to build collagen. Without it, newly formed collagen is unstable, so the two are deliberately paired. It also provides antioxidant support during the overnight window.
Recover uses 100 mg, which comfortably covers the cofactor role and sits above the daily requirement, with a modest antioxidant margin.
Glycine3,500 mg per stick
Glycine is the formula's bridge ingredient. It is the most abundant amino acid in collagen, so it supports the repair system, and it is also a relaxation and sleep supporter that helps ease the transition into sleep.
Recover uses 3,500 mg, within the amount used in sleep research, which supports restful sleep while also feeding collagen synthesis. It supports sleep quality rather than forcing sedation.
Collagen supplies the building blocks, glycine supplies the amino acid those blocks are richest in and supports the wind-down, and vitamin C is the cofactor that lets the body assemble collagen. The three are dosed to work as a unit, during the same overnight window the rest of the formula supports.
Calm and Sleep
If the first group supports the body, this group helps quiet the mind so sleep can begin. Several ingredients support a calm, relaxed state before bed through different routes, gentle nudges toward sleep rather than one heavy push.
L-Theanine200 mg per stick
L-theanine is an amino acid from tea that supports a calm, relaxed state without sedation. In an evening formula its job is to take the edge off mental tension so winding down comes more easily.
Recover uses 200 mg, within the studied range, the same amount carried in Activate, here working on the calm side with no opposing stimulant.
Magnesium (as magnesium bisglycinate)200 mg elemental per stick
Magnesium supports relaxation, normal muscle and nerve function, and a calm nervous system, and it is one of the most commonly under-consumed minerals.
Recover uses 200 mg of elemental magnesium as bisglycinate, a gentle, everyday amount. The bisglycinate form is chosen because it absorbs well and is easier on digestion than cheaper magnesium salts.
Vitamin B6 (as P5P)5 mg per stick
Vitamin B6 is a cofactor, not a sedative. The body uses it to make the calming neurotransmitters the rest of this group relies on, so it sits upstream of the calm-and-sleep chemistry the formula supports.
Recover uses 5 mg as P5P, the active form, a modest and supportive cofactor amount.
Stress Support
Much of what keeps people from restful sleep is everyday stress that lingers into the evening. Two actives support the body's response to everyday stress from complementary angles.
Ashwagandha (KSM-66 root extract)400 mg per stick, min. 5% withanolides
Ashwagandha is the formula's primary adaptogen, a botanical traditionally used to help the body manage everyday stress. The KSM-66 specification matters because it is the standardized, root-only material used in most of the research.
Recover uses 400 mg standardized to a minimum 5% withanolides, within the studied range. It supports the body's response to everyday stress and supports restful sleep.
Phosphatidylserine300 mg per stick
Phosphatidylserine is a phospholipid concentrated in brain-cell membranes. It supports a calm, balanced response to everyday stress, the racing-mind feeling that can make winding down harder.
Recover uses 300 mg, within the studied range, alongside ashwagandha as the second half of the stress-support layer.
Muscle Recovery
The last group supports the body's overnight recovery, easing the muscle wear of a hard day and supporting the cleanup the body does while you sleep.
Tart Cherry Extract750 mg per stick, min. 10% anthocyanins
Montmorency tart cherry is the formula's muscle-recovery ingredient and a quiet sleep supporter. It is among the richest fruit sources of anthocyanins.
Recover uses 750 mg standardized to at least 10% anthocyanins. It supports muscle recovery after exercise and supports restful sleep.
L-Ornithine400 mg per stick
L-ornithine is an amino acid that supports recovery by helping the body clear the byproducts of a demanding day, which supports less next-day fatigue.
Recover uses 400 mg, the amount used in its key research. It supports next-day recovery and sleep quality rather than acting as a sedative.

How It All Works Together
Recover is built as a sequence your body moves through overnight, not just a list of ingredients.
The repair group rebuilds connective tissue while glycine begins the wind-down. The calm group adds gentle, convergent support for relaxation and sleep onset. The stress group supports a calmer response to everyday stress, and the recovery group supports muscle recovery and the cleanup the body does overnight. The goal is one evening formula that supports repair, calm, and recovery while you sleep.
