Inside PREOVA Activate
PREOVA research notes · Energy, focus, and hydration
Lemon. Energy, focus, and hydration in one clean morning stick.
Activate is built around a simple idea: every active is here for a reason and dosed within the range used in published research. No proprietary blends hiding the amounts, no artificial sweeteners, and no sugar alcohols. Here is what goes into each stick and why we chose it.

The Energy and Focus Core
This first group does most of the work on both sides of the product: physical energy and mental focus. Creatine supplies a deep energy reserve, caffeine adds fast alertness, and L-theanine keeps that energy smooth.
Creatine Monohydrate5,000 mg per stick
Creatine is the most researched ingredient in sports nutrition. Your muscles and brain store it as phosphocreatine, a fast-access reserve that helps regenerate ATP, the body's cellular energy currency, during short bursts of effort.
Activate delivers a full 5 gram serving, the daily amount used to keep those stores topped up, so there is no separate loading step. Taken daily it supports muscle energy, physical performance, and the energy demands of the brain.
Caffeine100 mg per stick, from a natural source
Caffeine is the fast-acting alertness layer and the most studied stimulant available. It works by blocking adenosine, the signal that builds up across the day and makes you feel drowsy, which supports alertness and focus.
We use a deliberately moderate 100 mg, about the caffeine in one cup of coffee, for clean, repeatable energy rather than a jittery spike. It is paired with L-theanine to keep that energy steady.
L-Theanine200 mg per stick
L-theanine is an amino acid found in tea leaves and the calm half of calm focus. It supports a state of relaxed alertness and helps take the edge off caffeine, steering the experience toward smooth, sustained focus rather than overstimulation.
At 200 mg it sits at a 2 to 1 ratio with the caffeine, the pairing most associated with calm focus in the research.
This pairing is the centerpiece of Activate. On their own each has a role, but together they are studied as a calm-focus combination: caffeine raises alertness while theanine supports a relaxed, focused state, so the energy arrives steady rather than wired. Activate's clean 2 to 1 ratio sits inside the range used in that research.
Cognitive Support
Where the core supplies output and raw alertness, this layer shapes the quality of focus by feeding two of the brain's key messenger systems.
L-Tyrosine1,000 mg per stick
Tyrosine is the building block the body uses to make dopamine and norepinephrine, the messengers behind drive, motivation, and the ability to hold attention when the day gets demanding.
The body draws on it most when those stores are being used up faster than they are replaced, which is what happens under stress and heavy mental load. Activate uses 1,000 mg, an amount within the studied range, and pairs it with caffeine, the combination most associated with maintaining focus under demand.
CDP-Choline (Citicoline)300 mg per stick
Citicoline feeds the cholinergic system, the acetylcholine network behind attention, memory, and learning. It is unusual because one molecule delivers two brain nutrients: choline, which supports acetylcholine, and cytidine, which the body converts to uridine to support the phospholipids that build brain cell membranes.
Activate uses 300 mg, an amount within the range studied in healthy adults.
Stress Resilience
One botanical rounds out the focus layer by working on the other side of a demanding day: fatigue and everyday stress.
Rhodiola rosea Extract200 mg per stick, standardized to 3% rosavins and 1% salidroside
Rhodiola is an adaptogen, a botanical traditionally used to help the body cope with everyday stress and fatigue. Rather than forcing alertness the way a stimulant does, it is studied for helping the body hold steady through a demanding day.
Activate uses 200 mg standardized to 3% rosavins and 1% salidroside, the same ratio found naturally in the root and used in the core studies. That standardization is both a potency control and an authenticity control, since raw rhodiola varies widely in quality. It is an activating botanical, which is why it belongs in a morning formula.

Hydration and Electrolytes
Activate is an energy and focus product first, but it carries a balanced daily hydration layer too, because the same people reaching for focus are often training, sweating, or simply under-hydrated. This is everyday hydration support, not a heavy sweat-replacement mix.
Sodiumabout 400 mg per serving, from sodium citrate and sodium chloride
Sodium is the electrolyte that actually drives hydration. It helps your body hold onto the water it takes in, which is the difference between drinking and truly rehydrating, and it supports normal nerve signaling and muscle function.
Activate carries a moderate, everyday amount: more than a standard sports drink serving, but below the high-sodium mixes built for heavy sweat, which keeps it right for daily use. The citrate form doubles as a buffer that smooths the tart lemon flavor and is gentle on the stomach.
Potassiumabout 150 mg per serving, from potassium citrate
Potassium is sodium's partner. Where sodium manages the fluid outside your cells, potassium manages the fluid inside them, and together they run the pump behind every nerve impulse and muscle contraction.
Activate uses about 150 mg for a balanced electrolyte ratio. Potassium losses in sweat are small and most people get plenty from food, so this is a sensible top-up for balance rather than a heavy dose.
Magnesiumabout 50 mg elemental per serving, from magnesium glycinate
Magnesium is a cofactor in more than 300 reactions in the body, including the production of ATP, and it supports normal muscle and nerve function. It is also one of the most commonly under-consumed minerals.
Activate uses a light amount in the morning formula, with a larger dose reserved for a planned evening product, since magnesium's calming profile suits the evening. The glycinate form, also called bisglycinate, is chosen because it absorbs well and is gentle on digestion.
The Clean Sweetener System
When the cane sugar came out, two ingredients went in to replace it: allulose for body and base sweetness, and monk fruit for concentrated sweetness. Sugar does two jobs at once, and no single sugar-free sweetener replaces both well, so these two split the work.
Allulose1,750 mg per stick
Allulose is the base of the sweetener system. It is a rare sugar found naturally in small amounts in figs, raisins, and maple syrup. It tastes and behaves like sugar, giving the drink real body and a clean sweetness, but the body does not metabolize it for energy.
Its glycemic index is effectively zero, and the FDA excludes it from both the total and added sugars lines on the label. That is what lets an allulose-sweetened product show zero grams of added sugars while still tasting like the real thing.
Monk Fruit Extract80 mg per stick, standardized to at least 50% mogrosides
Monk fruit is the high-intensity half of the system. Native to southern China, its sweetness comes from compounds called mogrosides that are many times sweeter than sugar, so a small 80 mg brings the allulose base up to full sweetness with no calories and no glycemic impact.
Standardized to at least 50% mogrosides, the extract is clean enough to skip a bulking carrier such as maltodextrin.
Most sugar-free drinks lean on a sugar alcohol for bulk, which is the usual cause of the bloating that sugar-free products are sometimes known for. Activate uses allulose for that job instead, so the formula contains no sugar alcohols at all. Allulose for body, monk fruit for sweetness, and nothing artificial.
Allulose is counted by the FDA at 0.4 calories per gram. Monk fruit is calorie free. Both have a glycemic index near zero.
How It All Works Together
Activate is built around how its parts work together, not just a list of ingredients.
Caffeine and L-theanine form the calm-focus core. Tyrosine supplies the raw material for the brain's drive chemistry, while rhodiola helps the body stay steady under load. Citicoline feeds a second focus system behind attention and memory. Underneath, creatine and magnesium support cellular energy, and the electrolytes manage the hydration that keeps everything working. The goal is calm, crash-free energy with focus that comes from several systems at once rather than one stimulant pushed hard.
Caffeine
Each serving contains 100 mg of caffeine. Not recommended for children or for those who are pregnant, nursing, or sensitive to caffeine.
